Hydraulic vs Electromechanical

HYDRAULIC VS ELECTROMECHANICAL
The gate automation debate?
As you may be aware there has been a long ,on-going debate about the pros and cons of Hydraulic and Electromechanical Gate Automation Systems. To help you make your decision we have compiled a list of bullet points you may wish to consider;

HYDRAULIC
Hydraulic Operators are stronger than Electromechanical Operators & can work on much larger gates or cope easier with standard size gates.

Hydraulic Operators are generally quieter & faster than Electromechanical Operators.

Hydraulic Gate Automation is recommended for frequent usage (i.e. Heavy Domestic or Commercial Usage).

Hydraulic Operators require less maintenance and servicing as they are sealed and filled with oil, keeping all working parts lubricated & giving a much longer life-expectancy than Electromechanical Operators.

Unlike Electromechanical Operators, Hydraulic Operators are designed to be repaired, not replaced.

ELECTROMECHANICAL
Electromechanical Operators are generally chosen primarily because of cost, as they are mass-produced & require lower engineering standards.

Improved products and engineering components have greatly improved the Electromechanical Automation systems.

Cheaper than Hydraulic Systems.

Will adequately cope with regular domestic usage.
